I love Yahoo, despite the fact I've had the same gay ID since I was 11, which probably sprung from my love of hello kitty's angelic form. I particularly love the way that you may hurl any insult at someone and they will disregard it because of one magical symbol :

The other day during a conversation about Hi5 and Myspace and blogs and the like, Paloma mentioned that you're sharing your interests and thoughts with the whole world, so here are my thoughts on the home I'm visiting:
Steve is very funny and intelligent, also a very good Jett-Teen person, and a lot of fun to be around.
Ruthie is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen, She also has a very young spirit that I find some SGA's lose once they settle down and have children. She has a good sense of humour.
Jace is very sweet and I have to say kudos to him on his song writing skills. He did, after all, write my all-time favourite song. He also strikes me as a very humble guy.
Paloma is very focused and is a very good mother and teacher, also level-headed but not boring.
She has a very sexy Latin spirit.
Ang much prettier than she thinks and is a great sister. I always wanted to be like Ang when I was younger. I just wish she would stop using the term "emo" for everything. :P she's also a very hard worker(unlike me :P) and yes, I even like your African print halter-neck clothes. :P
Melo is my little German flower, is so much fun to be around and has a unique style in everything she does, her personality mirrors her colourful clothing.
Rachel Is a great cook and make the the most splendiferous cake. She's also one of the best dancers I know.
Amber is fun and crazy, and has an original style, despite her bad taste in music :P
Noelle is very creative and has very good taste in clothes. I also suspect she has some hidden talents.
Jeanette is a good older sister and is has her mother's good looks.
Sarah is a great actress and quite imaginative.
Chloe is a very pretty and always smiling, and is good with Aiesha.
I love Leila's Made up songs, and she always makes me laugh.
Ryan is one of the most adorable little boys to be born.
Aiesha is a very happy baby, is easily entertained, and is a real people person. she likes to suck on my face tho ...hmm.
Olga and Fiona seem to be very nice but a bit lazy :P
The only ones I have nothing good to say about are Purry and Tigger, they've been nothing but a source of nuisance to me.

In general I think this home is full of go-getters, they have great goals for the offensive and are really working towards them. I think they have a lot of vision and I can see the lord really doing great miracles for them.
I'll be very sad to leave at the end of the month.
I miss Melo already and If she ever goes on my blog, I just want to give you a big hug and kiss.

I went Face Painting at the Germany-Turkey Game in Basel, there were tons of Germany fans everywhere. there were people with signs saying "Suche Tickets" (looking for tickets) and everyone was wearing German or Turkish Flag Leis and wigs and flag draped drunken Football fans were chanting to the tune of "Seven Nation Army" (why I'm not really sure)
We met people from all over the world and painted so many German flags I lost count,there were quite a lot of Turkey fans but not as many as Germany.
One Fan said he didn't speak English but he knew one song, and he was trying to get JM to join in "My Bonnie lies over the ocean, My sister lies over the sea, My mother lies over my father, and that's the beginning of me."

Another guy had a sign around his neck saying "Haben Tickets, Suche Frau" (have tickets, looking for a woman)Some Brazilians we met.W.I.P. photo of my German flag, batteries in the cam ran out before I could take a pic of it finished.

My Granny

I went to my Granny's wake in London on 22nd, To be honest I really wasn't looking forward to it. I was expecting some solemn gathering of friends and relatives that I didn't know and wanted to leave before I even got there. But I discovered my all my relatives are just as crazy as the rest of my family, from my great-aunt Georgina to my cousin Leon.
I met my uncle James (or Jimmy as my mom calls him) for the first time, and his awesome girlfriend Pania.
It was so great to meet all these relatives who I had previously thought didn't want to have anything to do with us, and I really felt at home with them all.
It also made me realize what an amazing woman my grandmother was, hearing all these stories about her life and seeing the impact she had on all her friends and family.
My uncle had found a bunch of old pictures of my mom when she was younger, which are hilarious, I'll post some when they get scanned.
It's bizarre how alike my uncle and mom are, they have the same sense of humour they're both super stubborn.
I really hope we can see James and Pania again, maybe for Christmas or something.

As you probably know, I have an enormous-what can only be described as- mancrush (I know
I'm a chick but it seems to fit)on Tom Welling.
As he has no acting talent whatsoever, or any other qualities besides his athletic physique and perfectly formed face, it is pure lust. there's no admiration of talent or of his-quite frankly-boring personality, just lust.

2.Gula (Gluttony)
Ok I figured that none of my past acts of gluttony are worth mentioning, save that 1 kilo candy escapade, so I thought I'd mention an act of gluttony I am planning(so as there is no question as to whether I am reformed or still active in my sinful habits).
I have been longing for some of those candy apple rings forever, they are indescribable really, look at them...GAH!!!
As soon as I get a hold of some I'm gonna attempt to eat an entire packet in under 30 seconds(though I might bail out if they're too delicious).
3.Avarita (Avarice)
MONEY! how I wish I had more of it! if I did I could have all the apple rings I wanted, but more importantly I could have this...Yeah, though I would never get one of their computers, I love apple iPods especially the red one, I wanna get one engraved with "Monkeys Are Everywhere!"

There comes a time in everyone's lives, when they realize that something is not in order. they decide the best way to solve the problem is by speaking(or writing)about it at length.
Yes, Everybody needs to rant. (At this point I walk through traffic in slow-mo singing: Everybody rants...sometimes.)
As I must get it out of my system I have decided to put my rant into Fairytale form, to make it easier to bear, and perhaps, to some crazy monkeys, enjoyable.

Rantage Point.

Once upon a fictitious time, there lived a happy main character. This main character was an attractive female with an angelic disposition, who was, for some reason or another, under the suppression of a super-villain with an eccentric personality and evil designs toward world domination. Aforementioned super-villain had placed the heroine, say, a princess, under some form of magical imprisonment which could only be broken by some bizarre task performed by an attractive male youth of royal descent.

Luckily for the unfortunate heroine such a youth was sent to the very place of her incarceration by a fanatical aging wizard, and was given some abnormal objects of magical qualities from three elderly, corpulent, magical fairies.

Thus armed, the brisk youth set of towards the enchanted land through the dark, evil, wooded area surrounding the atrocious, would-be autocrat’s establishment. Having battled the evil trees which were magically endowed with the powers of speech, thought and movement, our royal hero approached the gate of the citadel where he challenged the over-confident sorcerer to open combat.

Meanwhile the eye-catching young princess, seeing her opportunity for wealth and freedom, began attempting to bribe the abused employees of the malevolent dictator. Having won them over with her inhuman charm and kindness she escaped to a more pleasant chamber on the next floor, only to be stopped by the super-villain who fastened her to some part of the room to keep her still while he went to combat our confident young prince.

The competition began and of course the super-villain made some statement to the boy about his impending doom, and insincerely implored the prince to run along to home to his mommy. The prince made some noble statement and began to attack the villain.

Naturally, the villain cheated and turned himself into some kind of giant creature and managed to get the hero trapped in something. At this point he began to brag about his superior strength and mental ability and proceeded to tell his captive every last detail of his plan for global supremacy. Then, Rather than kill the prince he placed him in some form of slow execution device and left to check on his other detainee.

The prince, endowed with the magical objects, released himself, defeated the evil sorcerer by some small obvious trick, and rescued the virtuous maid from her confinement. She immediately consented to marry him even thought she had never met him before and they lived happily ever after, That is until the have problems with their teenage daughter in a case of forbidden love in the next part.

Yes... its true me and brown have fallen in love...
I discovered brown in the form of a German coloring pencil that had been given to me in a set a while ago and I thought how interesting it would be to do a picture in brown, so I put it on the list of my mental to-do's,tossed it aside and and hunted for my regular drawing pencils. I had been hit by one of those strange drawing fits, and, as usual it had hit me in the middle of the night. I realised my pencils were in my mother's room and thus inaccessible; so I surmised Iwould do that brown drawing after all.
I was quite pleased with the outcome so I did another in the afternoon of the next day while listening to the feast audio. I like this one better.

OK, so here's the deal, I was thinking about who to send Valentine's cards to; and I thought about sending them to all my friends and acquaintances, but then I realized that I love everybody in the whole wide world (except Erno Rubik...damn cubes) so much that I had to send everybody (except Erno Rubik)a Valentine.
So here it is my love message to the whole world:
Ahem...We live in a strange world, you and I; A world full of hatred, death, and toys from China.
but I know of a way that you can make my little part of the world so much brighter, and I hope I can do the same for you.
I know I don't have a whole lot to offer, I'm just an eyeball with shadows for legs and arms. All I can give is my love, in the form of this giant pink heart lurking behind me. So I stand here on this painfully bright floral background and ask that you will take me,this lonely eyeball, and Be my Valentine. You will make me the happiest eye alive, Will you?!

Recently i've been thinking about childrens TV a lot. Now i don't know why, though it could have something to do with Nick endlessly singing the "Fruit Salad" song or that "Hot Potato" Vid on Mari's blog, but i realised that though the wiggles are incredibly annoying and fruity, there is another show, much much scarier.
When i used to babysit this one little girl she used to watch this show, so since she insisted on watching it I sat with her in front of the TV(you know when you watch kids you suddenly find yourself absorbed in Treasure Attic or family fun or something, and you're not interested but you MUST WATCH) and after the first 5 minutes my head began to swim, i found my mind slipping away from me as i drifted into a comtose state...yes this is the Frightening world of Boobah.

That's right, I've remodelled my blog, and hopefully it'll never go back to the sickening pink, boring,piece of crap that it was. There shall be no more 3,000 word posts about dead people that nobody cares about anymore, no, not this time.
The main reason for the pure insipidness of this blog previously,Is the direct result of complete lazyness on my part.
Odd thing, sudden obsession with the talentless Tom Welling, desperately need to be cured, but lack the motivation, here have a lookie yourself.See? yes i know i need help.....snarf, must retain a manly composure..

I just want to assure every1 that i will not be posting pics of my niece,nephew, son, daughter, grandson, godson,goddaughter, cousin, friend's kid or any other infants or toddlers, though i do encourage you to go to my sister Angie's blog to see pictures of my bizzarely cute niece Aiesha Sa yuri. oh and Mish possibly has the cutest child to ever walk this earth.

I think on her often.
I love her yet she doesn't know it.
She is almost perfect to me.

I have her clothes but they don't fit,
I miss that shapely body.
Now she's been gone a long time,
In vain I tried to bring her back,

I loved her skin when she was 11,
her mind when she was 9.

Thick, yet wavy and fine.

Many things drove her away,

"But where are we going?" I asked my darling as we walked down the long streets, he didn't answer, he just smiled with that, "you'll see" look on his face.
As we came aroung the corner, i saw where we were headed, a little jewlers store with a big christmas sign in the window.
When we reached it, just before we stepped inside,he whispered to me "Its time to get you a chirstmas present."
Once inside i looked around, there were many beautiful jeweled pendants all around in many shapes colours and sizes.
"Oh can i choose one?" I asked him
"But i already had somethinmg in mind"
"But can't i choose one anyway?" i said looking at him pleadingly
"Alright, if it'll make you happy" he replied with a sigh
Quickly i spotted a beautiful emerald pendant, and i decided that it was what i wanted more than anything else, but before i got to it, someone else bought it, I was shattered, but my love came, brushed his hand against my cheek and said,
"There are plenty others, keep looking."
So I did just that and soon i saw another pendant that made the emerald one look dull in comparison, i happily picked it up and my baby fastened it around my neck.
When i went to look in the mirror i was horrified at what i saw, the necklace didn't suit me at all, it drained all the colour from my face and totally swamped by the bright shiny gleam of it.
So i put it back on the shelf, i tried jewel after jewel but none seemed right, finally i turned to him and said
"I give up, you choose for me."
He smiled knowingly and with out saying a word reached down for a small box on the bottonm shelf, he opened it and inside was a clear crystal pendant, it did not look at all special to me, It even had a chip in it.
Quickly i suggested someone else who it might be a better gift for, but he didn't reply, he just held it up to the light and i gasped at what i saw, the light reflected off it and filled the entire shop with the most beatiful rainbows in thi brightest clours i'd ever seen, and because it was chipped it split the light in such a way that there was nowhere in the room that was not covered in amazing rainbows.
Slowly he brought it back down and placed it in my hands, cupping his own around mine, then he, my sweet Jesus, whispered;
"This one, is for you."

Livingstone conceived the idea that, if a way were opened from the interior to the coast, Christianity, civilization and commerce would move freely to these benighted people. Francis of Assisi was a poor little man who astounded and inspired the Church by taking the gospel literally—not in a narrow fundamentalist sense, but by actually following all that Jesus said and did, joyfully, without limit and without a mite of self-importance.

Serious illness brought the young Francis to see the emptiness of his frolicking life as leader of Assisi's youth. Prayer—lengthy and difficult—led him to a self-emptying like that of Christ, climaxed by embracing a leper he met on the road. It symbolized his complete obedience to what he had heard in prayer: "Francis! Everything you have loved and desired in the flesh it is your duty to despise and hate, if you wish to know my will. And when you have begun this, all that now seems sweet and lovely to you will become intolerable and bitter, but all that you used to avoid will turn itself to great sweetness and exceeding joy."

From the cross in the neglected field-chapel of San Damiano, Christ told him, "Francis, go out and build up my house, for it is nearly falling down." Francis became the totally poor and humble workman.
He must have suspected a deeper meaning to "build up my house." But he would have been content to be for the rest of his life the poor "nothing" man actually putting brick on brick in abandoned chapels. He gave up every material thing he had, piling even his clothes before his earthly father (who was demanding restitution for Francis' "gifts" to the poor) so that he would be totally free to say, "Our Father in heaven." He was, for a time, considered to be a religious "nut," begging from door to door when he could not get money for his work, bringing sadness or disgust to the hearts of his former friends, ridicule from the unthinking.

But genuineness will tell. A few people began to realize that this man was actually trying to be Christian. He really believed what Jesus said: "Announce the kingdom! Possess no gold or silver or copper in your purses, no traveling bag, no sandals, no staff" (see Luke 9:1-3).

Francis' first rule for his followers was a collection of texts from the Gospels. He had no idea of founding an order, but once it began he protected it and accepted all the legal structures needed to support it. His devotion and loyalty to the Church were absolute and highly exemplary at a time when various movements of reform tended to break the Church's unity.

He was torn between a life devoted entirely to prayer and a life of active preaching of the Good News. He decided in favor of the latter, but always returned to solitude when he could. He wanted to be a missionary in Syria or in Africa, but was prevented by shipwreck and illness in both cases. He did try to convert the sultan of Egypt during the Fifth Crusade.

During the last years of his relatively short life (he died at 44) he was half blind and seriously ill. Two years before his death, he received the stigmata, the real and painful wounds of Christ in his hands, feet and side.

On his deathbed, he said over and over again the last addition to his Canticle of the Sun, "Be praised, O Lord, for our Sister Death." He sang Psalm 141, and at the end asked his superior to have his clothes removed when the last hour came and for permission to expire lying naked on the earth, in imitation of his Lord.

Here's a woman to admire...
Mother Teresa was born Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu in Skopje*, Macedonia, on August 27, 1910. Her family was of Albanian descent. At the age of twelve, she felt strongly the call of God. She knew she had to be a missionary to spread the love of Christ. At the age of eighteen she left her parental home in Skopje and joined the Sisters of Loreto, an Irish community of nuns with missions in India. After a few months' training in Dublin she was sent to India, where on May 24, 1931, she took her initial vows as a nun. From 1931 to 1948 Mother Teresa taught at St. Mary's High School in Calcutta, but the suffering and poverty she glimpsed outside the convent walls made such a deep impression on her that in 1948 she received permission from her superiors to leave the convent school and devote herself to working among the poorest of the poor in the slums of Calcutta. Although she had no funds, she depended on Divine Providence, and started an open-air school for slum children. Soon she was joined by voluntary helpers, and financial support was also forthcoming. This made it possible for her to extend the scope of her work.

On October 7, 1950, Mother Teresa received permission from the Holy See to start her own order, "The Missionaries of Charity", whose primary task was to love and care for those persons nobody was prepared to look after. In 1965 the Society became an International Religious Family by a decree of Pope Paul VI.

Today the order comprises Active and Contemplative branches of Sisters and Brothers in many countries. In 1963 both the Contemplative branch of the Sisters and the Active branch of the Brothers was founded. In 1979 the Contemplative branch of the Brothers was added, and in 1984 the Priest branch was established.

The Society of Missionaries has spread all over the world, including the former Soviet Union and Eastern European countries. They provide effective help to the poorest of the poor in a number of countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America, and they undertake relief work in the wake of natural catastrophes such as floods, epidemics, and famine, and for refugees. The order also has houses in North America, Europe and Australia, where they take care of the shut-ins, alcoholics, homeless, and AIDS sufferers.

The Missionaries of Charity throughout the world are aided and assisted by Co-Workers who became an official International Association on March 29, 1969. By the 1990s there were over one million Co-Workers in more than 40 countries. Along with the Co-Workers, the lay Missionaries of Charity try to follow Mother Teresa's spirit and charism in their families.

Mother Teresa's work has been recognised and acclaimed throughout the world and she has received a number of awards and distinctions, including the Pope John XXIII Peace Prize (1971) and the Nehru Prize for her promotion of international peace and understanding (1972). She also received the Balzan Prize (1979) and the Templeton and Magsaysay awards.
